AND I'VE TRIED SO HARD TO SAY PLEASE DON'T GO AWAY

RIYL: talented musicians making music

This is an Austin band that I would like to see soon.  Mother Falcon is a classically trained group of musicians, lead by Nick Gregg.  Due to the number of persons involved in playing Mother Falcon shows, they have not performed anywhere but Austin.  Their website says they perform with anywhere from 10-20 members at a time.  Here is the list of musicians currently playing...

Laura Andrade- Cello
Rita Andrade - Viola
Italo Benavides - Cello
Diana Burgess - Cello
Kira Bordelon - Violin
Clara Brill - Violin
Nick Calvin - Cello
Maurice Chammah - Violin
Yun Du - Violin
Nick Gregg - Vocals, Cello, Mandolin, Guitar
Austin Harris - Violin
Tamir Kalifa - Vocals, Accordion
Matt Krolick - Trumpet
Gilman Lykken - Bassoon
Josh Newburger - Violin
Claire Puckett - Vocals, Guitar, Piano
Matt Puckett - Vocals, Saxophone, Glockenspiel
Luke Stence - Bass
Isaac Winburne - Saxophone, Percussion, Piano

See... I wasn't bullshitting!  That's a lot of people

Please make the 3 hour trip North up I-35 and come see us!

YOU DO WHAT YOU DO, I'LL DO WHAT I DO TIL I DIE

Great throwback sound.  I am decidedly a fan of any talented psych-rockers and this suits me perfectly.  The added female vocals set the bad apart from the other psych buzz-bands of the moment.  I think these guys are going to be big.

YOU REALLY DON'T WANT ME, YOU JUST KEEP ME HANGIN' ON

I can't keep this to myself any longer.  I was given the link to a 25-song anthology from Index about a month ago, and now is the time to share (thanks to Justin L.)  Another bonus is that these songs were recorded in stereo, whereas the black album I posted a while back was a Mono bootleg.  You're welcome in advance.  My favorite right now is 'Shock Wave'.

Get it here...
