The more I listen to Future Islands' new LP, On The Water, the more I begin to think it's the best album I've heard in a long long time. 

The album is, among other things; thoughtful, intimate, well-paced, nostalgic, original and goosebump-inducing.  If you are going to Fun Fun Fun Fest, you have to see these guys.  The emotions displayed on stage by lead singer Samuel T. Herring are powerful and honest.  Check out this great interview with Samuel by Consequenceofsound.
