POKING THE WORLD WITH A STICK
Some of my best recommendations come from the artist's suggestions page on bandcamp when you download their album. Last week I blogged real hard about Coyotes in the Room. If you were smart enough to go download that album, you may have seen this in their suggested listening. This starts somewhere around dark-bedroom-creep-funk-pop and ends up a complete tapestry of Deerhunter-esque psychedelia. This description will be utterly feeble when you give it a listen because I really can't find the words for this album. It's fucking free!
