Solo project from White Magic member Doug Shaw.  Shaw lives in New York, originally from the UK.  Band's name is a reference to the highlife genre of African music from which he draws almost all influence for the album.  I really like it as a whole; first and last tracks serve as more of an intro and outro for the middle three.
